Detroit (March 18, 2010) – Tom Coddington and Al Adam, two members of the Original Ramchargers Racing Team Along with the infamous Motown Missile Pro Stock program will be holding a book singing session in the Mancini Racing display on Friday, March 26 and Saturday, March 27 at the Mopars at the Strip Event.

Both Tom Coddington and Al Adam along with other members that included Tom Hoover, Jim Thornton and the late Dick Maxwell were close knit team of passionate Chrysler Engineers who operated in clandestine like conditions building race cars that changed the course of drag racing forever.

Now enthusiasts attending Mopars at the Strip will have an opportunity to meet both Tom and Al and purchased a signed copy of a critically acclaimed book that chronicles their racing achievements.

"We Were the Ramchargers", written by Dave Rockwell, provides a detailed and insightful behind the scenes look into one of the greatest drag racing teams in history with excellent first hand accounts and wonderful never before seen photographs of the "High & Mighty" days all the way to the "Motown Missile" Pro Stock era.

Books will be available for sale from Mancini Racing for $39.95 and the signing sessions will be held the evening of Friday, March 26 in the courtyard at the Cannery along with Saturday, March 27 in the Mancini Racing display in the sponsor midway at the strip.
